  • 4 oz salmon fillets (2 fillets)
  • 8 oz large shrimp, deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lb russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the potatoes by peeling and chopping them into even chunks. Rinse under cold water.
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Drain.
  3. In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Season shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning and cook the shrimp in the same skillet until pink (3 minutes), then add salmon and cook until it flakes easily (6 minutes).
  5. Mash the potatoes with remaining butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Serve mashed potatoes topped with shrimp and salmon, garnished with chives or green onions.
