  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 lb pork sausage (or turkey sausage)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (green or red)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer the cooked sausage in the baking dish, followed by bell peppers and half the cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layers and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden brown. Serve warm.
