  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup long-grain rice (jasmine or basmati)
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until clear. In a saucepan, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on low for 18-20 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for about 3 minutes per side until pink.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently while simmering for another 2 minutes until thickened.
