Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 large sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • 8 slider buns
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté sliced onions and bell peppers until softened and caramelized (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, increase heat to medium-high and cook the thinly sliced beef with salt and pepper until browned (3-5 minutes).
  4. Layer half of the slider buns in the baking dish. Top with cooked beef, sautéed vegetables, and provolone cheese. Place the remaining buns on top.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
