Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned but not fully cooked.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Pour in remaining juices from the steak and add another tablespoon of butter.
  4. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, and gradually add grated parmesan cheese and dried herbs. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return seared steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce for an additional minute.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.
