  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash bananas; mix in melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually fold into wet mixture without overmixing.
  4. Pour half the batter into the pan; sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar mix. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the mixture.
  5. Bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
