  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ½ cup sour cream (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until meat is browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into circles (about 4 inches in diameter).
  5. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture on each circle; top with cheese and cilantro. Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Place on the baking sheet, brush tops with beaten egg wash, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
